If we were pro-life, we'd say this is of a piece with his abortion flip-flop. Such backpedaling from long-held views is, of course, nothing unusual for a presidential candidate, but in this case it's particularly pathetic. Even with his new, more palatable positions, Kucinich is about as likely to be elected president as Janet Reno is to become the next Miss Venezuela. |
